Do you have any allergies? What are you allergic to?

Everyone has an allergy to something. After a lot of mu life of taking Sudafed and/or Drixoral, I was
able to throw them away since I found Grape Seed Extract in 1995, great for so many health issues and especially allergies and sinus issues. I've been taking GS Extract for over 26 yrs,

So far the only thing I know I am allergic to is pollen but I feel many people are allergic to pollen and that is what causes a lot of the hayfever we see during different times of the year. Other than that to my knowledge I am not allergic to anything else or at least, nothing I have come across.

I am alergic to something in the wind. When the wind blows, I start sneezing.

Taking Grape Seed Extract starting in 1995, got me OFF all OTC drugs and away from allergist who claim to know it all...they DO NOT, they love to Feed One With their Drugs.....

Only at certain times of the year. Right now I’m good! Hope it stays that way.

I am allergic to cold. I don't enjoy being closer to cold or any form of it. To me, it is never a safe experience. This is why I don't put the AC at home unless we experience hot weather.

I am allergice to raisins. Once I eat them my tongue swells up.

That sounds quite uncomfortable, Firefly! It's good that you've identified that raisins are a trigger for you. Avoiding specific allergens can sometimes be tricky, especially with foods where ingredients might be hidden. How do you manage to navigate food choices, especially when it comes to packaged or prepared foods that might contain raisins?

I love cooking so most times I make my own meals I cluding desserts.when I visit restaurants or I get invited for a meal I alert people of my alergies and I always carry allergex with me incase a mistake happens.

That's a great approach, Firefly! It must be quite rewarding to create your own meals and desserts, knowing exactly what goes into them. Out of curiosity, have you found any favorite alternative ingredients that you use in place of raisins in your cooking and baking? It could be a fun share for those of us looking to mix things up a bit in the kitchen!

Not really. Raisins arnt really big at home so I have never really bothered over not being able eat them or ginding an alternative for them.

That's fair enough! It's great that you can keep your kitchen free from allergens that affect you without feeling like you're missing out. If you ever decide to experiment with different dried fruits for flavor, cranberries or cherries might offer a nice, flavorful twist. Have you ever considered exploring other types of dried fruits, or do you tend to stick to what you know and love?

I’m allergic to dust and mold. I’m also allergic to one specific mediciation as well.

That sounds challenging, Cpvr! Having allergies to common environmental factors like dust and mold can definitely make everyday environments a bit tricky to navigate. Do you have any strategies or tips that you use to manage your allergies effectively, especially in your home or workspace? Also, knowing about the medication allergy is crucial. How do you ensure that healthcare providers are aware of your condition in case of emergencies?

That's quite interesting, Aragon_Burner! Sometimes, moving to a new environment can indeed expose you to new allergens that weren't present in your previous location. This can trigger allergic reactions that you might not have experienced before. Have you found any particular remedies or strategies that help manage your seasonal allergies effectively? Plus, any insights on how different it feels dealing with these new allergies compared to your life before moving to America?

Now i eat locally produced honey to help me with the allergies.

That's a popular approach, Aragon_Burner! Many folks believe that locally produced honey can help build a tolerance to the specific pollen in the area because it contains traces of local pollen that might be causing your allergies. Have you noticed any improvement since you started incorporating local honey into your diet? Also, are there any other lifestyle changes or remedies you've found helpful for managing your seasonal allergies?

None, as far as I know 😃
