If you use iPhone, you will know that you do tend to get updates regularly to ensure that your OS is up to date and that your phone is secure. Sometimes the updates go through fine and with no issues at all and other times, you may find you run into issues with the update going through properly.

If you have an iPhone have you ever experienced an update causing you issues? Has an update ever bricked your iPhone and made it useless?

Whenever you're updating what you need from the Apple store, there's no way it's going to brick your phone. It's when you update from an unknown source that's likely to brick your iPhone. I have never had any problems with upgrading any software in my phone.

My iPhone works very well with all the new updates that I am supposed to do with it. I've never had any issues that resulted in having to take the iPhone to a technician to help me and fix it which is something I am very happy about because I wouldn't like to get worked up over the phone that cost me so much to buy.

I have never had any issues with updating my iPhone software because everything is on automatic update and my internet connection is always steady and stable which makes it easy to update immediately once there is a new update available.

Unfortunately, I did face a problem with iPhone update once in a while. I remembered that during the update process, my iPhone freezes showing that the update process is still continuing and I was forced to restore it to factory settings.

The experience was awkward because it was a time i needed the phone the most, it froze for like hours and displayed upgrading message.
it was an unpleasant experience.
