Do you usually talk with your friends when playing a multiplayer or an online video game? If so, what program do you use to talk with them?

When I want to speak with someone while gaming I use Discord to do so. It's easy to use and gets the job done. But sometimes I use the integrated voice chat in games like CS:GO to connect with my friends.

As long the talk doesn't distract me from actually playing the game, I wouldn't mind and have at it with whoever I'm gisting while playing such games.

I used to always be talking to friends years ago in around 2008 - 2009 when I used to play video games as we were all playing the same game in multiplayer and we always had a lot of fun playing so it was never a distraction.

Nowadays I don't tend to chat as much but if I did, I don't feel it would be an issue if we are all playing the same game.

If I am playing games with friends, why won't I be talking to them? It is the fun that comes with playing with them. If they are not there with me, I will not want to talk to them because they will be a form of distraction to me.

Unless it's talking with my fellow in-game players, I don't talk with anyone when I'm playing video games because my headset is always on. The only game I'll play without a headset which means I can talk with others is football games.
